I recently had a short trip to Zakka Campsite in Cameron Highlands, and it was a delightful experience. The campsite offers a cozy and serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding amidst nature. The tents were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The cool highland weather added to the charm, making it an ideal escape from the city heat. Facilities like shared bathrooms were tidy, and the common area was a nice spot to relax and mingle with fellow campers. The nearby attractions and scenic views were a bonus. Overall, it’s a great choice for a peaceful getaway in Cameron Highlands!

Best escape from the City heat. Our 1st day here was raining all day that caused that amazing fog views of the highlands. Sleeping in the tent feels like 15c omg. I’m freezing but i love it! Haha. Overall we’re satisfied with the campground & facilities provided. Staffs are also very friendly & helping. We had amazing 3 days 2 nights stay here. 🤍🤍🤍

Very beautiful campsite , cooling and have a beautiful scenery. Every zone has its own unique view and experience. Clean and spacious toilets with hairdryer provided and water heater 💛 Feels good to be surrounded in green tea trees and a historical building. Glad to be able to experience and learn new things about our country upbringing and being able to experience slight history in the present world. Thank you for preserving this place Zakka Campsite 💚 🍵

10 of us rented C4,5,6 for 4 days 3 nights. Tight fitting for 3x 6 men tent and a Large fly. We loved the cold 🥶 and the view of majestic mountains 🏔️ range, sea of clouds ☁️ was a common sight. Weather was 17-23 degC. Sometimes we were in clouds. ☁️ Rained 🌧️ quite a lot (and for hours) during our stay and some areas of the lots were flooded. We needed to dig drains (with just hammer 🔨 ) and ‘pumped’ puddle of water the primitive way (like how we change fish tank water using a water hose) by elevation difference. See the photos. Workers were no where to be seen when we needed help. Suggest CO to build proper drains for some of the lots for better comfort of campers. Water 💧 (heard it’s from the mountains ⛰️ ) was dirty and muddy (there’re times the color was like coffee) certain hours of the day. Plenty (7 each for men and women) of shower 🚿 rooms each c/w electrical water heater and WC 🚽. Water heater won’t work when the water supply was dirty (filter clogged up). It got better after worker back flushed in the morning. One of the common face/hands-washing / teeth brushing cement top was clogged and water overflowed by the side 😨 The biggest challenge - Kid NOT were the FLIES 🪰! They were all out for war from 8+ am to 5-6 pm. Heard this campsite is adjacent to farms using organic 💩 fertilizers. Overall, the weather and view are great! But the site will be a lot more pleasant with proper drainage and cleaner water, above all - without swamping flies !
