We had an awesome four nights at this campsite. The site is next to a beach with lots of space for campers whether they are in a tent or a truck like us. It is easily accessible from the main road and well sign posted. It can be very windy, but please don’t let this put you off, it’s beautiful here. I swam in the sea, but you would have to be a confident and strong swimmer. The shower area is first class, the owner has created a five star area with hot water, it’s one of the best wash areas I have seen in Malaysia for camping. He really looks after the area and it is so clean. There is also an area for you to wash dishes; a communal area to shelter from the wind or hot sun with charging points to recharge those important electrical goods!

My forever favorite hideaway. This sacred place deserves to be treated with love and respect. Don’t ruin it with careless actions. When your heart is kind, Mother Nature will reward you — maybe even with the magical sight of future turtles hatching. 🕊️🤍

Open campsite with good facilities. The toilet area is really good with water heater at the bath area. The campsite are quite open, so you can pitch your tent anywhere. The plugpoint is located at the community area. So, if you can pitch there, you can 24/7 plugpoint access.

A good campsite with clean toilets and sheltered common area with power point. Roof of the shelter leaks by the way, so during heavy rain and you thought the common area helps avoid rain, good luck to you. LOL. Getting here is a bit confusing though, the day we arrived, caretaker wasn't around, we were the only camper, and entry gate was closed. We thought we came wrong place hence kept going back and forth looking for the entrance. The site has no shelter or trees except the very ends so it can get extremely hot at noon. We pitched near the right side end, facing the sea, under a tree with a structure. As the beach wasn't fully private (sharing with chareting hotels besides), there's people walking pass the site at night. We than realize they are rangers and possibly poachers watching for sea turtles. The 1st night we camp, a turtle camp within 10 metres of our tent to lay eggs, so there was quite some human traffic per say....than the stormy rain came and someone ran passed out tent and tripped the tent poles causing a domino effect and our flysheet collapsed. The 2nd night, the same situation happened, and our flysheet was ripped once again by passes by running from the storm. It's a dampener definitely expecting the site to be private and secure. The bonus of this campsite is that you could witness turtle laying eggs right in front of you at certain periods of the year and star gazing is possible with privacy, provided no passing rangers. LOL!
