Despite the rain, me and my friends had a good time cos the family that owns the place were warm and friendly. They provide us with good hospitality due to our wet tent and free bfast. Highly recommended campsite.

The best campsite I've visited ( visited more than 10 already) . Well equipped for your convenience. Toilets are clean and new , with water heater. There is common kitchen with gas stoves and also bbq pit, and freezer to keep your perishable. There is small stream by the side of the campsite, with shallow but fast flowing water. Looks safe for kids. Site is very clean and well managed. Check in as early as 7am and checkout as late as 5pm.

Most satisfying camp site I've been to. Each site was big enough to accomodate large tents. Ample car park slots and quite near to your camp site. Toilet was very well built (not those shady zinc wall), very clean, water heater provided and well-maintained (VERY IMPORTANT PLUS POINT!). There's a fish pond within the compound where you can fish (reel not provided). No catch and release, you need to take what you get (weigh and pay). This is too avoid stressing and injuring the fish. Another very thoughtful insight by the CO. Camp site is next to main road, but with only occasional traffic. So you don't get that much noise actually. Night time was quite cold as it's surrounded by hills. There's a river nearby (1-2 min walking distance). But the current was quite strong and not suitable to let your kids to play by themselves without supervision. I'm saving the best thing for the last. There were a few deep freezers provided for you to store your fresh veggies and items to cook. The CO puts some aiskrim Malaysia, ice packs and heavenly frozen sugar-cane juice in bottles! All these are very handy in those hot afternoon sun. And conveniently, you just need to pay via QR for each item that you take. The deep freezer is free for you to put your cooking items though, just remember to label it to avoid confusion. So, summary. Is it worth it? Definitely. Will we come again? Also definitely.

I had a good stay at Uncle JO Retreat in November 2025. Booking via the Escabee app was seamless and hassle-free. The campsite is nestled in a private orchard, offering a calm and serene atmosphere. Safety is a priority here; the site is fully fenced with gated entry. The facilities are top-notch. My spot (Camping Base No. 4) was a spacious 20ft x 20ft sand plot with its own washing sink, BBQ pit, and dedicated plug points. The bathrooms are clean, spacious, and include water heaters and soap. I also loved the generous 7 AM check-in and 5 PM check-out times. The COs are incredibly friendly, and on-site parking makes loading/unloading easy. While the river is shallow with a fast current, it was a bit muddy with a slight unpleasant scent. Overall, excellent for service and serenity 🏕
