Sir Campsite is a high-gated camping area in Janda Baik, fully enclosed and not visible from the outside. Upon arrival, I was welcomed at the front counter and personally briefed by the campsite owner himself, Mr. Parish. There are no specific marked lots here — campers can freely choose and set up their tents anywhere they like. I chose to pitch my tent further back in the dark zone area, away from the lake. This section is quieter, more shaded, and has a slightly wilder feel. The dark zone toilets are designed more like cabins compared to the ones near the main area, giving it a rustic touch. Plug points are available, and fishing in the lake is on a catch-and-release basis. The owner occasionally makes his rounds, checking on campers at each tent, which adds a friendly and personal touch to the experience. BE MINDFUL - The camping fees are dynamic — they’re charged based on how you deploy your tent and flysheet setup. At night, the place is alive with the sound of crickets, and the temperature drops significantly, so it gets really cold. Most campers seem to prefer setting up around the lake area. Owner claimed the area can fit 50 tents. Wheelbarrows are provided to carry your equipment, and rubbish can be dropped off near the office area. My stay lasted three days and two nights, with early check-in around 10 a.m. and checkout around 4 p.m. Overall, it’s a relaxing, well-managed, and secure campsite with a good balance between comfort and nature.

First time camp at SIR camp site. We had a very very wonderful experience here. Nice environment, nice neighbors campers, nice weather.. except for the toilet condition a little bit off, the rest was wonderful..such a sweet memory there. Our host CP is very friendly, giving briefing when we reach there and come chit chat during the days too. Definitely will go back again

The campsite is nestled amidst a picturesque setting, adorned with a lush green lawn that stretches out as far as the eye can see. The vibrant greenery creates a soothing and refreshing ambiance, inviting visitors to unwind and connect with nature. At the center of the campsite, there is a small fish pond shimmering under the gentle sunlight. Adding to the charm of the campsite, there are chickens and ducks freely roaming around. Their cheerful presence brings a sense of liveliness to the atmosphere, as they peck at the ground and occasionally waddle their way to the pond for a refreshing dip. The sounds of their clucks and quacks intertwine with the peaceful surroundings, creating a harmonious symphony of nature. The weather at the campsite is a delight, with a continuous gentle breeze that rustles through the leaves and brings relief from the warmth of the day. As the sun begins to set, the temperature gradually cools, offering a pleasant respite. The evening air carries a hint of freshness, encouraging campers to gather around a crackling bonfire, sharing stories and laughter under the starry night sky. This campsite is a haven for nature enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility. With its greenery, serene fish pond, friendly chickens and ducks, and a delightful weather pattern, it provides a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing visitors to relax, rejuvenate, and forge a deeper connection with the beauty of the natural world. I will be back soon...

Campsite environment is good, private and safe, pretty well maintained and bathrooms are relatively clean. At the center of the campsite, there is a small fish pond available for fishing with practice catch and release. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Even the CO came to checked and offered help during strong gusty winds and rain at night. At night time temperature gradually cools.
