Love it so much! I came here alone but felt very safe and very welcome. The caretaker Pakcik Shamsol is so friendly, kind, and helpful. This is like camping on easy mode as everything is provided! The tents are good quality and foam mattress was comfortable. I suggest bringing your own pillow and sheets for extra comfort. I stayed in R1, very spacious hut, I loved the extra privacy with the room design. There were 3 toilets and showers, clean and enough for the campsite. Kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook, and there are 2 restaurants within easy walking distance. The food there is a bit pricy but its understandable for the island. I took the sunrise hiking tour and it was super worth it, we went to Batu Kucing, Turtle Watch, and passed by many beaches on the way. The best part of this place is the beach (same as the Summerbay beach). Snorkeling was beyond fantastic, swim out to the deeper waters, and the coral is alive and teeming with huge schools of fish, reef sharks, baby sharks, stingrays, seahorse, giant purple clams, blue corals, etc. Its not crowded at all, daytrippers arrive for just a few hours in the afternoon, but apart from that its like you have your own private coral reef!! The boat transfers were also great, they dropped me at a jetty to take the public bus back to town, which was again super convenient.

• Check-In: 
   ‣ Begins at 12:00 PM at campsite. Boat transfer 10:00AM only at Jetty. Guests shall stanby at jetty 9:30am. (default jetty is SEM Redang Day Trip jetty in Merang, Setiu, Terengganu, any change of jetty will be notified)
   ‣ Upon arrival, please register at the main desk and collect your campsite map and safety instructions.

• Check-Out: 
   ‣ Must be completed by 11:30 AM on your departure day. Boat transfer 12:00pm at island. ETA 12:50pm at Jetty.
   ‣ Ensure all belongings are packed, and your campsite is left clean and tidy.
   ‣ Return any belongs to campsite.

3. Do’s & Don’ts
Do’s:
• Respect Nature: 
   ‣ Keep to designated trails and camping areas.
   ‣ Use provided facilities for waste disposal and recycling.
• Maintain Cleanliness: 
   ‣ Dispose of trash in the proper bins.
   ‣ Practice “Leave No Trace” principles—pack out what you pack in.
• Be Considerate: 
   ‣ Keep noise to a minimum during designated quiet hours (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).

Cancellations received between 14 and 29 days before arrival will incur a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the total booking cost. The remaining 50% (minus any administrative fee) will be refunded.
•	Less Than 14 Days Before Arrival:
Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will not be eligible for a refund.

Had a great time at Sem Campsite. Did 2D1N and loved every second of my time spent here. Superb view from literally any spots, nice calm beach, very clean, well maintained. Nice snorkelling area right in front of the site. Just perfect for nature lovers. chill and relax - all while taking in the view. Tents are included in the package with air mattress and they will setup everything for you but you can bring your own too. There is good reception and strong data connections around the area. It has decent sharing kitchen for cooking with complete utensils too. bring your own food. Toilets are clean & comfortable. There are also taps too at almost every corner, some with overhead showers, super convenient! The owners Sem & Abg Yi are good hosts, very helpful and friendly.. not to forget the caretaker Abg Shamsul too! Bookings are done online, you can choose your spot and package and it was a smooth process, fast response from owners and they will share all necessary information/details with you.

I was here twice this year (june and early august). Both experiences were superb!!! It’s rare to find a place that makes you want to come back so soon, but this campsite and surrondings truly delivers on peace, comfort, and nature (Equally fascinating is the marine life, especially the baby sharks and schooling fish). Each visit offered something a little different, but the consistency in peace nd scenic beauty kept me coming back. The facilities met my needs, the staff are helpful (no doubt!) and the surroundings are perfect for unplugging and relaxing. See yaa next year, InshaAllah💙

One of the best experiences ever at Lang Tengah Island even though only stay for 2 day 1 night trip. Thank you SEM Campsite of Lang Tengah for the accommodation, the host provide everything that we needs. I will come again!! 10/10 for sure. First of all, I will rate the return boat transfer. Maybe because I come with my friends during the Eid Adha, so not many people come into the island so much. It feel like I got private boat trip from Al Ameen Jetty when only two of us ride the boat on that morning. The boatman also very good with handling, so quite amaze with them when going through the hide tide. Even when we arrive infront of the campsite, the SEM management help us unload our item while provide the chair for us to walk down from the boat. Second, about the area of the campsite especially the facilities. We choose the normal platform which also can see the breathtaking view of ocean directly straight from our tent just like seaview platform. The platform also provided with the tent and basic foam mattress for us to sleep comfortably. So many amenities like the electric plugpoint, kitchen (with gas and utensils), sinks even the barbecue pit and also the toilet is well-taken care of!! The mobile coverage is also great! The package trip also includes the life jacket and snorkeling set for whole trip!! We even can use the kayak all day long without the times limit. And also, the toilet and kitchen is also near the platform so easier for us to ise it. WORTH TO MENTION, the care taker of SEM CAMSPITE is very helpful and friendly. Shout out to Sam and Mie!! Lang Tengah is really fulfil my expectations eventhough quite sad with the death coral along seashore of the beach but the view is still amazing though!! We don't need to snorkeling so far, less than 15 meter we already can see the diverse kind of fish species and colourful corals. Just walk a few meter around the campsite, we also can see the black-tip baby shark anchovies and many more. Not to mention, the water is crystal clear for us to see the fish and coral from above. Even from this campsite, we can see both the sunrise and sunset. Quite privileges I guess? Hahah. Like I said, will come again for sure!! THANK YOU SEM CAMPSITE!!
