Saraphi Campsite And Homestay

Kg Kura, Jeneri, 08210 Sik, Kedah, Malaysia

Absolutely loved our stay at Seraphi Homestay Camp in Jeniang, Kedah! Shu Ning — the main contact person — is insanely nice. Like, next-level friendly and genuinely helpful. Her husband, Nick (the CO), was just as kind. Such good energy from both of them. The campsite itself? So clean. The toilets and showers? Also spotless. We did car camping & RTT (RM50/lot) and booked 3 lots at Level 2. The owner wasn’t kidding — the view up there is beautiful. One thing we absolutely loved: the campsite uses mountain spring water. So yes, the water is cold, but the pressure is amazing — which actually makes washing dishes super easy and zero stress. The CO even prepares dish detergent and sponges for campers. Small detail, but super thoughtful. There’s also a small café at the campsite. If you want breakfast, you can pre-order Nasi Lemak or Roti Canai. Super convenient. Just a heads-up: the road going up is a little challenging, but manageable. We drove a Land Rover Discovery, so it was smooth for us. Also, don’t rely fully on Google Maps/Waze because you might lose connection in certain spots. Make sure to follow the arrival directions the campsite will send you — those instructions are the key to getting in without stress. Overall, this is a campsite we’ll definitely return to. Highly, highly recommended!

I came with my own Camping Setup and stayed 2 nights, beautifully overlooking the valley below. The Place is simple with no frills, but with clean toilets, showers and electricity provided after around 6pm-12pm. The friendly Host can also arrange for good Thai food brought up from village. The way up to Campsite is very steep, only 4x4 or motorbike recommended. Quite hot during the day (with a breeze), but some shaded sitting area is provided - nights are cool. Had a great stay!

recommend campsite, have basic amenities, owner nik was really helpful, can rent tent here, price is reasonable, can park at owner place and go up by owner 4x4. view was great. if weather good, sunrise view served with carpets clouds 🌄

Camped here with a bunch of RTT campers. The terrain is slightly challenging to navigate with an ordinary car. With loose gravel and steep climb, those with 4x4 it is effortless. Advice: select 4 low. Once on the campsite, u'll b rewarded with an unobstructed view of the hills and even clouds. Temp: can b hot n humid in the noon as there is lack of mature trees (campsite is a work in progress) but as soon as the sun begins to set, the surroundings will cool fast. Facilities: a clean & comfortable toilet, a man made pool for campers. Soon to be up will be their own cafe/eatery. Credit to the humble camp owner. Do not be mistaken the camp owner for being a siamese (we were wrong..hahah). He is a local boy who speaks good mandarin n hokkien. Fun fact: he had a short stint in penang before quitting n joining his dad in developing this wonderful campsite.

Owner Nic are friendly, helpful and humble person. Fantastic experience at this camping site. A gorgeous and comfortable place to spend time with your family and pet. Place and washroom is clean and well maintained. It hard to find a pet friendly campsite in kedah so highly recommend!
