Definitely will come and again with big group. The best camping experience ever since all the facilities are excelent. I took the tent with 4bed, the tent inside is clean and doesnt have any unconvient smell. The toilets are very clean even have some toilet lamp/water not working. The staff name anis and aina very friendly and give very beat service to us. River also easy access. But after the sugeh resort need to take no ‘tar’road and our weather that day is rainy so a bit messy until we arrived at their gate.

About Sailor's Rest
A cool, fresh spot in the jungle, where you can hang out by the river and rejuvenate yourself in a pristine nature… all just an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur. This serene environment is Sailor’s Rest Campsite, 600 metres above sea level in the Titiwangsa mountains near Janda Baik. Easily accessible and catering for groups and families alike, this site makes a great place to relax for a couple of days, completely immersing yourself in the sights, sound and scent of the native jungle. You can use it as a base for ATV adventure or hiking outings, or simply hang out quietly and soak up the atmosphere right there on site (or perhaps a bit of both…) The riverside setting of this place means that it’s got a truly chilled-out vibe and attracts lots of wildlife to look out for. It also means you’ll have somewhere handy to cool off after a day of activity. The river is shallow enough for paddling and gentle swims, and if you want to explore further you can sign up for tubing activities with nearby providers. The site has been set up to preserve the natural spirit of the surroundings, but with enough facilities and amenities to make sure you’ll be safe and comfortable. There are electric connections and lights all around the site, and you’ll have access to toilets, showers, wifi and a hot and cold water dispenser. Breakfast is available, and you’re welcome to bring along a barbecue to cook dinner on. There’s also a communal fireplace and an open-air cinema area that guests can use.

I'm staying in the bungalow with my family—five of us in total, two adults and three kids—traveling from KL for a nature escape. While the price is on the higher side, I don’t mind because the place is clean, well-equipped (except washing machine), and wonderfully peaceful. No city noise, just the calming sounds of nature—frogs croaking, birds singing, and misty hills in the morning create such a soothing atmosphere. The bungalow itself is spacious, but the decor could use a refresh to match the beauty of its surroundings. That said, one big plus is the internet—100Mbps WiFi is available, with another router placed in the dining hall to ensure a seamless connection, which is really convenient for staying connected when needed. As for the other on-site amenities, they could benefit from some renovation, but honestly, that’s not why we’re here. The real highlight is the creek—perfect for toddlers and, well, for older folks like me too! Haha. The shower and toilet facilities (charmingly built with bamboo) are conveniently located nearby, making it easy for us to enjoy a refreshing dip for as long as we like. Breakfast is simple but filling, and again, we’re here mainly to unwind and soak in the scenery, far away from the hum of the city. The staff makes the experience even better—Miss Hanis and Mr. X (who lives right next to the bungalow, but I forgot to ask his name) is incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay for all of us. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, with modern comforts like fast WiFi, this is a great spot for families looking to reconnect with the outdoors!

This place offers a humble experience to enjoy the nature. The small stream is just in the backyard. You can either set up your own tents or book any from their choices of tents, rooms, chalet and a bungalow. Facilities provided are beyond average. Breakfast is simple yet very nice which suits the place and atmosphere. However, it would be better if they could improve the landscape since certain parts looked rather unkept. The moss made the pathway became slippery when it rained.
