Rasa Hill

Lot 511, Jalan Besar, Kampung Sungai Engkak, 44300 Rasa, Selangor, Malaysia

I guess this is now my favourite campsite up to date! This was beyond our expectations 😅 First, we were told that nobody is checking in next to us, we can have the whole platform by ourselves 🤪 Secondly, upon arrival, the abangs were already on standby to help us to carry our items in their wagons to our platform. As well as when we were checking out. Weather was too hot for our little one (we forgot our flysheet), so we moved to common area during lunch and the attentive CO was very kind to set up a canopy for us! Truly blessing in disguise, it rained after that in the evening! Not to mention the water pool was AWESOME for kids. 🤣 Immediately became a small water park. What’s more amazing is that they have 3-4 pools 😱 Toilets were clean and well maintained, don’t even need to q. Plug-point and individual sink for each platform were definitely plus point too! We will definitely return in the future. Keep up the good work Rasa Hill!

Nothing but utmost satisfaction for our 3d2n camping zone C, tapak c5 here. Eventhough parking a bit far, the staffs helped with carrying all (literally everything) from loading area to tapak. Biggest carrier out of all the campsites we’ve been. Pros; 1. Amenities top notch - Toilet, Shower, sink, lightings 2. Plug Points 24hrs 3. Water supply - Syabas 4. Best Pools - 1 kids with playground and 1 big2 adult pool. Got 2 more pools at zone A (total 4 pool with 1 heated pool) 5. Plenty of spaces to dry GS, sunshade, etc when packing up 6. All tapak with sunshades to avoid hot sun 7. Telco all full bar 8. Common area available near pool (for zone C). You can even lepak2 at pool area Cons; 1. CO doesnt sell ice or simple camping stuffs; butane, canned drinks etc. 2. Considered modern campsite for tapak C. Those who prefer forest vibe can go to tapak A (deck camping) Easily my top3 campsites. For sure will repeat.

Great camp site with good facilities, easy access to town for meals and grocessory, accessible road. It is about 7 min drive to Rasa Town, 15 min drive to KKB and Batang Kali if you want to hunt for food at different towns. To me, Rasa Town is good enough as the nearest dine out option. The owner, Jeremy and his team is very helpful and friendly. The hospitality that they offered is at tip top resort level instead of a campsite. It is phenomenal! My kids enjoy the children pool facilities at Zone C very much. They never get bored of it. I enjoy the jacuzzi and hot spring at Zone A. Will we come back again? The answer is definitely yes!

Rasa Hill Campsite – A Funny but Honest Review Just over an hour from Petaling Jaya, depending on traffic and driving skills, Rasa Hill Campsite offers a range of camp lots priced between RM80 and RM250. For those looking for the best locations, lots 18 and 21 are closest to the **shared baby pool**, making them the most convenient for a quick and safe splash, especially for little ones. Currently, there are two pools, with ongoing expansion for a villa that will include a private pool and another pool featuring a children’s playground inside the water. Each lot can accommodate up to six people, and children below a certain age can stay for free, which is a rare benefit for parents. The common area is well-equipped with four electrical sockets, four fans, and sufficient lighting to ensure that campers do not accidentally eat a bug along with their meal. Speaking of bugs, ants, and mosquitoes, they are part of the natural experience, so it is advisable to come prepared with insect repellent. The decking area has hooks available, which can be useful for securing your tent. There are no stray animals on-site, so food remains safe, but the shared toilets and sinks mean that campers may become quite familiar with their neighbours. It is important to note that there is no sink near the common or food area, so some improvisation may be required. Road access can be challenging for a sedan, but it is manageable with careful driving. However, a sport utility vehicle, multipurpose vehicle, or four-wheel drive would make the journey significantly easier. A special mention goes to Jeremy, the owner’s son, who checks in daily to ensure everything is in order and that campers are not attempting to establish a permanent residence. There are no rigid rules, just a relaxed atmosphere, and visitors are currently allowed with advance notice to the owners. One important detail to note is that there is no river on-site, so those expecting a natural water feature will have to make do with the pools. Would we return? Absolutely. We will just make sure to bring insect repellent, a suitable vehicle, and a good sense of adventure!
