I had a marvellous and. Wonderful camp stay in Payung🏖️🏖️. The atmosphere and ambience were simply refreshing, fun-filled and chilled. The campsite is fronting the sea view with a chance to immerse and enjoy the feeling of serenity and tranquility. The operator is friendly and always do their best to provide great hospitality moment. Will definitely make my second trip in the future ❤️👍🌟

We had a great stay at Payung Getaway. Even though we arrived a bit late and without booking we could get a nice spot near the sea. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the site is clean, pet-friendly, has power for charging devices and hot showers. You can rent kayaks for exploring the river and the campsite is walking distance to nearby bars and restaurants. Great place with a chill atmosphere and friendly travellers. We will be back!

2nd time here at Payung. The campsite is well maintained, very clean and well equipped. Camp owners are very friendly too. Brought our cats along and they enjoyed the outdoors. There's a few resident dogs n cats but they're very well behaved. Something to consider when camping here is the winds can get quite strong so make sure you have sand pegs else your tent may fly away. If you cook here, it'll attract flies so if that bothers you, can prepare some fly traps. There's a hot water heater in the bathrooms, bidet equipped toilets, and they're cleaned everyday.

Amazing place for both experienced and beginner campers. Second trip in two months, the entire site was really clean. Whilst the toilets and showers were basic, one shouldn’t expect five star luxury at a campsite. Had issues with sandflies on both trips, will be better prepared the next time. Tip: Dome shelters are easier to pitch and put up than fly sheets and tarps in strong wind. Ensure you have sand pegs or really long (30cm or more) tent stakes lest you risk your tent / shelter flying away. If you’re cooking, make sure you have a sturdy windshield and extra gas canisters as it will take significantly more fuel to cook in windy conditions. Nights can be quite still, so fans are a must.
