A very beautiful and cozy waterfall definitely worth visiting! The water is clear, refreshing, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. I went camping from 30 May to 1 June, and honestly, one night wasn’t enough, I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights to fully enjoy the place. However, I strongly suggest avoiding weekends and public holidays. It gets extremely crowded, and parking becomes a big issue even though there are already many parking spots available that’s how busy it gets. One suggestion to the Lata Kolam management team: please consider implementing a cleaning deposit system. Unfortunately, some visitors leave behind a lot of garbage instead of disposing of it properly, which affects the natural beauty of the area Overall, still a great place, just plan your visit wisely and be responsible in keeping the environment clean 🌿. #janganjadifamilypengotor

There are 3 levels here! You can explore at your own pace - no need for hiking.
Level 1: Pengkalan Suri - Entrance area
Level 2: Pengkalan Dua - Camper's favourite area
Level 3: Pengkalan Raja - Main waterfall

Campers can choose to camp either at Pengkalan Suri (Level 1) or Pengkalan Dua. Tapak is based on first come first served basis.

Camping 3D2N: 24-26/5/2026 ✅ The river water is crystal clear, clean, and refreshingly cool. ✅ Surrounded by a peaceful natural forest environment, making it an ideal place to relax and relieve stress. ✅ There are plenty of safe swimming areas suitable for both children and adults. ✅ A great location for camping, BBQ gatherings, and group activities. ✅ Additional activities such as ATV rides and kayaking are available for extra fun and adventure. ✅ The beautiful waterfalls and unique rock formations provide stunning scenery and excellent photo opportunities. Overall, Lata Kolam Besut is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to enjoy nature, relax, and take part in exciting outdoor activities. 🌿🏞️✨ Tqsm

We went here and stay for a night at the tube. The stay is nice, price is reasonable, basic facilities available, the toilet is clean. The place itself it's clean and well maintained. The direction are very clear, they have sign board and map in each point. There are several stay available like campsite, tube, and homestay. Prayer room, restaurant and shop are available but have limitations. They don't have everything. The road leading to this place is also clear. Just a few place that are not fully tar. The waterfall and river are very nice, clear, cold and blue. Not much rocks. There are shallow and deep part, need to be aware and make sure you can swim. It's one of the best and clearest water I've ever seen in Peninsula Malaysia. The river flow is normal not that hard. There are many visitors came here with friends and family doing picnic and barbeque. The entire place is clean and organize. It's like a proper infrastructure. There are also lifeguard to keep the safety of each visitors. Beside swimming there are also few other activities available. You need to at least once come here. Totally worth it

Stayed at the campsite, reasonably price, toilet and pray room available. Opted for plug point campsite. Sandy surface camp site. Crystal clear water, deep pool, must visit.
