Back for my second visit, and Koref Desaru Leisure Farm still impresses. With one of the largest farm grounds in the area, it’s packed with fun: flying fox, water slides, obstacle courses, kayaking, and seasonal rice harvesting. You’ll also find rare, hands-on experiences like fish feeding, duck egg collection, ostrich farm, geese farm visits, and charcoal bread baking. A new highlight: their 6-storey viewing deck offers stunning sunrise and sunset views over Desaru—truly breathtaking. We stayed at the stone house, which comes with two queen beds and a single. It’s rustic, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—perfect for unplugging and recharging. We heard from Teacher Yap that air-conditioning is on the way. Looking forward to their better amenities next year! Special thanks to Mr. Tam and Teacher Yap for being such attentive and thoughtful hosts. Teacher Yap went above and beyond to make sure our kids were well taken care of—even cheering up our cranky toddler with balloons and balls. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality throughout our 3D2N stay. Evenings are relaxed with trampoline, badminton, basketball, and table tennis at the hall. Koref is a hidden gem for families and adventure lovers—definitely worth discovering.

Love the stay in the tree house, providing one with the opportunity to unwind and be close to the nature and also enjoying the fresh air. Our stay had direct view of the ostrich farm, which allowed one to study the behavior of the ostrich 🤭💕 Would also like to give our thanks to Mr Tam, Teacher Ye and the team for the wonderful and educational trip planned for the kids. Navigation to the site was easy due to many signages placed along the road, really appreciate such gesture to direct one.

We had a good time. Mr Yap was our guide and he was attentive to my senior parents’ needs while encouraging the kids to have good time. The activities we enjoyed include kayaking and obstacle course in one of the lakes, flying fox and float slide, visiting the ducks and chicken, fishing, learning about the farm.

Excellent place but a bit remote do note that if you want to travel there there is no grab out, but the owner drive back to hotel for rm 50 and have water sports and activities.

I just spent 4D3N at Koref and with my family of two young children and 2 friends at the stone cottage. We really love their hospitality, kindness and delicious food with lots of nature activities! We arrived at 630am and they were so kind to give us an early check in. Stone cottage was homely and comfortable though do note to bring your own toiletries and towel as that is not provided. Also bring along lots of repellent, sunblock and raincoat!
