I had an enriching time and experience throughout two days and a night with my kids. Surely it wasn’t enough but we will repeat. We stayed at Bougainvillea KIF Cottage. Such a beautiful and very clean place. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Thank you guys!

• Visitors allowed with picnic fee. Entry only from 9 AM to 6 PM. 
• For hygiene and safety, only proper swimwear is allowed in the pool. 
• The management is not liable for accidents, damages, or lost property.
• Keep the campsite and its facilities clean and well-maintained.
• Follow all Malaysian laws; any violations will be reported to authorities.
• Do not litter, including fruit peels and seeds. Avoid washing or dumping food waste in the river.
• Open burning is strictly prohibited.
• Cutting trees around the campsite is not allowed.
• Keep noise levels down after 11:00 PM to maintain peace.
• High-voltage electrical appliances (over 800 watts) are not allowed to prevent power disruptions.
• Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Dispose of cigarette butts properly.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Fishing or capturing wildlife around the campsite is prohibited.

Check-In/Out for Campsites:
• Standard check-in: 12 PM (can enter as early as 10 AM if the site is available).
• Check-out: 5 PM (if new campers arrive, clear the site for them but feel free to stay for a picnic after).

Check-In/Out for White Tents:
• Check-in: 2 PM (as early as 10 AM if the tent is empty).
• Check-out: 12 PM (latest by 2 PM, depending on availability).

Amendments, Cancellation and Refund Policies

Refund Policy
• Full Refund (100%): Cancel more than 14 days before the check-in date to receive a full refund.
• Partial Refund (75%): Cancel between 14 and 7 days before the check-in date to receive a 75% refund (25% admin fee applies).
• No Refund (0%): Cancellations made less than 7 days before the check-in date are not eligible for a refund.

Amendment Policy
• Postponements: Require at least 14 days' notice.

We understand unexpected situations may arise. However, our refund policy helps us manage operations effectively. If you need to cancel, notify us as soon as possible. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Very recommended for first-time campers! I brought my two kids here for our first camping trip — it was such a relaxing and stress-free experience. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Even though I didn’t have a tent, she rented me and recommended the best size for my family. She even lent us a table and chairs, so I only needed to bring food and a stove! The place has a clean toilet, a proper cooking area at night, and there’s even a guard wall around for safety. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and waking up to it the next morning — honestly, so healing. While everyone else was stuck in traffic during the long holiday, I spent mine resting peacefully by the river. Thank you, KIF, for giving us such a memorable and peaceful holiday. We’ll definitely come back again!

Camped here for a 3d2n (malaysia day break) stay. Campsite owner is very courteous n helpful. Apart from the bad weather - yes, it rained heavily + strong wind, the experience was good. It's a very safe n nice campsite. The ground did not get all soggy despite the pouring rain. And also the river next to campsite did not swell beyond the banks. We were all offered nasi lemak for bfast courtesy of the campsite owner in conjunction with Msia day! How good is that!

Wonderful campsite by a river with a complete & clean toilet & shower. Suitable for motorhome, they provide plug point, coway & dining area too. They also sell fruits ice cream, local made by themselves with a factory in Kuala ketil. Its also an orchard, end of June & early of July will be the fruit season. Not only durian, they have rambutan, dokong, langsat, cempedak and many more.

(May 2026) A great stopover on my epic road trip! I chose to stay at this highly popular campsite, booking easily online via Escabee. I paid RM120 for the lot d, which included the fee for two headcounts. Compared to all the other campsites on this trip, this site has the highest night rate. Site Layout & Operations: Overall, this is a very well-planned, organized site with good facilities and a professional check-in SOP. The new generation running the place has brought a fresh and solid setup to camping in Kedah, though it sits on the pricier side for this region. The Highlight: A Bird-Watching Heaven For nature enthusiasts, this place is a total bird-watching heaven! There are so many different types of species here, and waking up to the beautiful sound of birds singing in the morning is incredibly peaceful. Family-Friendly Features: With an on-site pool, it is a fantastic destination for families. The river is shallow and completely safe for children, and the flat terrain makes it very easy for the elderly to walk around comfortably. Amenities & Convenience: Water & Power: A massive bonus is their clean drinking water dispenser machine. The filtered water here is safe to consume and better quality than a bottled Spritzer. 24-hour power plug points are also readily available. Supplies: They conveniently sell ice packs right on-site. Food Options: For meals, you can easily make phone orders for food delivery. For breakfast, they have small packets of Nasi Lemak available for just RM1.50 per pack. A highly organized campsite that bridges comfort and nature beautifully!
