Himbaan Gardenstay is a Hidden gem nestled in Ranau, it comes with an amazing view of Mt KK from the massive room window. The tiny house comes with all that is needed for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good water pressure, heater works fine as well. Kitchen is equipped with the basics to whip up meals. Bbq pit is conveniently located right beside the tiny house. Do remember to buy your groceries, condiments and bbq stuff before heading over. Supermarket is a 30+min drive from bnb. Was well taken care by Andrew and his staff. They gave suggestions on where and what to visit and helped booked a guided hike to Maragang hill even though it was at the last min. Kudos to Andrew and his staff for making the stay enjoyable.

I wish more people come here and experience the beauty from this point of view. Though i wasn’t lucky during my stay here due to the cloudy weather, but this place is just as good as Kundasang. The road wasn’t actually that bad but a long ride away from the crowded spot was worth the scenery. So much space for car park and even a reception to purchase all the necessity for BBQ. Reliable and friendly staffs. Give a try!

Tucked away in a secluded location, it offers a sense of serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere. One of the highlights is the stunning view of Mount Kinabalu waking up to that majestic sight every morning felt like a dream. The homestay itself is clean, cozy, and well thought out. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds that made for a restful sleep after a long day of exploring. We also appreciated the kitchen area, which was well-equipped for light cooking perfect for preparing breakfast or a simple dinner while enjoying the cool mountain air. What makes Himbaan truly special is the atmosphere it’s healing, calming, and deeply connected to nature. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and breathe. Whether you’re here to unwind, spend quality time with loved ones, or just reconnect with yourself, this place delivers. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing and soul soothing getaway in Sabah.

Cozy cabin with an amazing view, wonderful host Andrew who guided us through booking and directions to get there. The journey to get to the cabin was an adventure itself, strap in and enjoy the ride and scenery. Will be back again for the hospitality and views. Thanks Andrew.
